On the 16-17th of February 2017 – with more than 100 participants - there was a successful meeting and conference held for businessmen in Bucharest. The topic of the event was „entrepreneur zone”, where besides prestigious Romanian guests lecturers from Hungary were also attending. The event was organized in partnership with the Hungarian Business Association in Romania (HBAR), the Embassy of Hungary in Bucharest, the Association of Hungarian Economists in Romania (AHER) and the Romanian Department of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI).

One day before the conference, there was a businessmen meeting followed by a reception at the residence of the Ambassador of Hungary to Romania. The evening was opened by H.E. Ambassador Botond Zákonyi and the CEO of OTP Bank László Diósi, who outlined the fact that the interest regarding the business conference is continuously increasing. After the opening remarks of the host, the Sebestyén winery from Szekszárd introduced their products which was followed by a food-taster. A lottery was held for a Vocalcycle CEO Bike worth of 1.500 EUR, among the participants of last year and the members of the Association.

The following day Mr. László Diósi, the CEO of the OTP Bank presented the perspectives of the Romanian economy for 2017, at the Novotel Hotel. As a novelty two noted Romanian lecturers accepted the invitation of HBAR for the economic conference. On the one hand, Mr. Sergiu Negut Vice-dean of the Maastricht School of Management in Bucharest, on the other hand, Mr. Petrisor Gabriel Peiu, Director of the Foundation of the Black Sea University. 

The closing presentation, entitled „Business Competention 2017” was held by Mr. Zoltán Ács, the Professional Director of the Design Terminal, which was followed by panel talks about the company culture and its effects on the businesses.
