On 7. September 2018, Ambassador Botond Zákonyi and Colonel László Kiss, defence attache attended the ceremony on the occasion of the 3 year anniversary of the establishment of NATO's South East Multinational Division HQ in Bucharest. During the ceremony, all troop contributing nations' - including Hungary - flags were ceremonially raised and their national anthems were played. The Hungarian Armed Forces are represented in this multinational organization by an officer and a non-comissioned officer.
