On 23rd October, 2018 a wreath laying ceremony took place at the memorial statue of Imre Nagy and his partners in Snagov, where a speech was delivered by H.E. Ambassador Botond Zákonyi, in the afternoon the Embassy of Hungary together with the members of the Hungarian community living in Bucharest held a festive commemorative program in the Petőfi House with the theme of the heroes of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956.
