Marking Ireland’s presidency of the EU Council, the Irish Embassy in Bucharest organised a visit for ambassadors and senior diplomats from numerous EU member states accredited in Bucharest to Târgu Mureș. The group of diplomats were hosted and briefed by Mayor Zoltán Soós, who presented the city's current situation and planned future development, highlighting various projects and investment opportunities. During the visit Hungary was represented by H.E. Ambassador Katalin Kissné Hlatki. The visit subsequently continued in Cluj-Napoca.
