At the invitation of the Arad County RMDSZ, H.E. Ambassador Katalin Kissné Hlatki participated and gave a speech at the ceremonial commemoration held at the Arad Grand Theatre on October 5th. On October 6th, at the central location of the Transylvanian commemorations held on the Hungarian national day of mourning, a mass in the Minorite church was dedicated to the spiritual salvation of the victims after the devotion held at the Execution Ground and the laying of wreaths at the tomb of the martyrs. The main celebrant and speaker was Kornél Fábry, titular bishop of Guardialfiera, deputy bishop of Esztergom-Budapest. After the mass, the commemorators marched on foot to the martyrs' monument, the Statue of Liberty, where Balázs Hankó, Minister for Culture and Innovation of Hungary, Hunor Kelemen, President of the DAHR, Péter Faragó, Deputy Secretary General of the Government, President of the DAHR Arad County Organization, and Lazăr Faur, Deputy Mayor of the City of Arad, delivered ceremonial speeches. H.E. Ambassador Katalin Kissné Hlatki laid flowers of respect at the Martyrs' Monument and the Statue of Liberty on behalf of the Embassy of Hungary in Bucharest.
On October 5th, 2025, before the festive performance at the Ioan Slavici Theatre she delivered a speech to the gathered celebrants.
