On 3 February 2017, Ambassador of Hungary in Romania Botond Zákonyi paid a courtesy visit to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Teodor Melescanu.
During the meeting the Ambassador and the Minister discussed the actual issues on the bilateral agenda and reinforced mutual intentions and common interests to improve the bilateral relations between the two countries. Both parties highlighted the continuation of the development of the economic cooperation and the intensification of investments both in Romania and Hungary. Similar to that, it is essential to promote sectoral cooperation projects as well. Both parties agreed on that those results have been achieved during the last years on the fields of infrastructure, transport and energy policy, provide a good basis for realising the abovementioned objectives.
