At the invitation of the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR ), Prime Minister-Fidesz President Viktor Orbán made a two-day tour of Transylvania in the period of 8-10 May, 2019. On 8 May Mr Orbán had talks with the leaders of the Alliance and municipality councillors about the European parliamentary elections, on 10 May he inaugurated Romania’s largest feed mixing plant in Kerelőszentpál/Sânpaul,, and payed a visit to the Szeklerland Ice Hockey Academy in Csíkkarcfalva/Cârța. On 9 May Mr Orbán attended the informal summit of the European Council in Sibiu.
