On May 22, 2018, on the 170th anniversary of the Hungarian Armed Forces Day there was a wreath laying ceremony held at the memorial of the Hungarian soldiers in the Calvin Cemetary of Bucharest, attended by Ambassador Botond Zákonyi, Lajos Mile, Consul General, Consulate General of Cluj Napoca and Tóth László, Consul General, Consulate General of Miercurea-Ciuc. The commemoration was followed by a reception at the Hungarian Embassy in Bucharest.
