On 27-28th October, 2016 in the concert hall of the Romanian Atheneum the George Enescu Philharmonic performed the premiere of VII. Symphony of László Lajtha featuring conductor István Dénes. Both days were full house (800 persons), while in the hall of the Atheneum there were two photo-exhibitions displayed, one of them presented the life and work of composer László Lajtha in Romanian, the other one the life of philosopher István Bibó, who was minister in Imre Nagy government in 1956, in English and Hungarian.  Before the concert Andrei Dimitriu the director of the Romanian Atheneum praised the Hungarian Revolution. H.E. Ambassador Botond Zákonyi held a welcome speech focusing on the work of composer László Lajtha in connection with the 60th Anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution. He also expressed his appreciation to the Remembrance Committee of 1956, which made it possible to present the work of László Lajtha in such a prestigious environment for the Romanian audience.
